Is this one the same? $899 if logged in to B&H: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...anner.html

I haven't advanced to the "scan level" of 3d printing and don't know a lot about them, so not sure if there may be differences within models

That does appear to be the same one and if it is available at $899.00 it would the cheapest price I have seen. I don't have a B&H account to log into though.
There are different Raptor models, Raptor $1499.00, Raptor Pro $1899.00 and RaptorX $4,599.00.
My scanner budget is <$1,000 but I also need fine details so I have been watching the space and been disappointed with everything I've tried so far.

How much of a difference is there between the $1500 models and this?

The proprietary app that is shared between all creality scanners is absolute trash. I have the otter that I got from a "deal" for roughly $500 on slickdeals and absolutely regret it. Creality barely supports the app and until a different app comes along, nobody should buy creality scanners.

Look at other options. The scanner app is garbage.
