Would this work well for stapling a screen to the outside of a wood window frame?

It would but i'd recomend put something over it so the screen doesn't easily tear through something so small. Otherwise you may be stapling every repair

Do you have a staple size recommendation? I know the wider ones will be good for the job, just not sure how long cos one customer complained it doesn't fully puncture long staples, thanks.

I would use Velcro tape in case the screen needs to be removed or replaced. You can also staple the self-adhesive Velcro tape so that it holds for longer.

Staple size is going to vary based on the strength of the stapler, if it has variable tension, thickness/strength of the material stapling through and the density of the material you are stapling into. It will work great through a bedsheet. It wont work great through carbon steel.

This is meant as a lite to medium duty construction stapler, and stapling screen to typical pine wood is that.

For screen, you just want to staple multiple times per side. Go ham with it. It will work fine.

I asked this in previous post too. What's the advantage of taking this vs one of the Chinese ones on Amazon which also have nailer functionality and seem to be only couple of dollars more

Seems like a good deal, I wonder if this one would be easier on my arthritic hands.
