- The monitor takes about 30 seconds to wake up. I've searched online and tried adjusting various settings, but haven't been able to fix it.
- It causes eye strain after a few hours of use.
For context, I used 27" iMacs (2015 and 2020 models) for about eight years, and switched to the Studio Display around two years ago. I've also used several HP Z-series 4K 27" monitors — never had any issues with eye strain.PS the whole experience comes from an M3 MacBook Pro.
As the poster above said - it's real slow to wake up and doesn't integrate with macOS at all, volume keys, brightness, etc …
It's also pretty cheaply made and doesn't feel like a $1500 display. $799 feels a lot more reasonable given the quality.
