I have one of these and they're God awful. You need a damn computer science degree to map the buttons on android and windows. Even after the headache of figuring that out in their terrible app I gave up on the controller. For micro controllers I use my crkd atom that works right out of the box with windows/android/steam without any fuss.

I use this one-handed for shortcuts while drawing on my tablet, it's a wonderful tool for that. I've never used it for actual gaming, but I'm sure it would be pretty bad.

Imagine if you had an actual computer with a keyboard -- you could program all those keys to do so many different functions!

These are great if you use the SRS flashcard program Anki.

That's weird. My friend and I play with two of these in his Tesla while charging his car.

By the way, don't listen to these guys. These controllers are very nice.
The built quality is great, the actual buttons and d-pad are surprisingly nice, and it is indeed smaller than your hand.

Yet somehow that doesn't seem to be an issue with these.

$15 is a no-brainer.

These aren't really good game controllers. They're super small and no person with normal hands could control them comfortably, plus there's some input lag. But they're great as a keyboard shortcut pad for productivity purposes.

Build quality is solid, and I've found the 8BitDo software works well for mapping buttons.

I got one of these used in "like new" condition for 15 that just had a minor black scuff on it (that I never bothered to remove with goo gone). It's probably the most functional of these tiny controllers as it has two shoulder buttons vs the 1 that the other two 8bitDo smaller controller lines do. I guess you could argue that the 8Bitdo Lite 2 has motion controls, rumble, and programmable buttons like the advanced switch pro controllers do but i still prefer the shoulder buttons for a tiny controller. I keep one of these in my work lunch bag. It works great out of the box with SNES 9x EX+ (Super Nintendo) on Android. I didn't like it much with MasterEmu (Sega Master System\Game Gear). Only works well with specific types of games. Puzzle, Turn based RPGs, Casual platforming.
