They weren't the ones that were actually recalled but HF decided to offer refunds on other, similar ones as well. https://www.harborfreig
Mine are 69597.
Since it would be an even exchange cost-wise, I'm thinking I might as well exchange mine for these. Is that logical? Are the Daytonas any better than Pittsburgh? Design seems similar.

the ratings did not. they just want you to use matching pairs now instead of possibly mixing and matching

The big recall was prompted by the risk of the pawl unintentionally disengaging under certain circumstances. In the current Daytona stands, that has been addressed by the addition of a locking pin the older models lack.
And as illustrated in one of the Reddit posts on the difference between the two versions of the current Daytona stands, the "thick" post version has teeth that are more robust, and deeper, with more surface area to engage the pawl, compared to the older models.
The base section on the Daytonas are still constructed of two halves welded together, but they are solid, without the cutouts of the Pittsburgh. They also have an additional reinforcement bar between the two halves, closer to the feet, as well as internal gussets to reinforce the formed corners forming the feet, that can be seen from underneath. It's clear that the Pittsburgh lack the former, and probably the latter as well.
It cold be justified for some to not trust HF after the recall. But, they acted responsibly, in spreading the word, and offering remedies, not only for the affected models, but those that weren't, like yours. Were it some other brand, lesser known, fewer people might have been even aware that they were under increased risk.
HF's CEO probably likes his megayacht, art collection, and mansion too much to allow that mistake to occur again, so the current stands are likely to have been more deeply scrutinized and up to snuff so they don't get sued for any mishaps.
The choice comes down to a pair of older stands, from a lower line, versus a pair of brand new stands, with enhancements to reduce the risk of failure. As an even trade, that decision should be even easier.
