Are there sites that sell used parts, I'm looking to upgrade a desktop to use for simple 3d printing.

Are you looking to run modeling software or control software? If control only, a Pi will run OctoPi or Fluidd if you already have one and will let you monitor locally, or remotely with some additional plugins.

If you don't any of these used low profile PCs that pop up on here from time to time should work and might end up being cheaper than a Pi these days.

Sorry I'm a bit confused with your question. Are you asking why this 7600x3d bundle is better than the 7800x3d bundle from newegg?

Until Microcenter goes back to allowing ITX motherboard substitution in its bundles for a fee, I'm kinda done going there for mobo/CPU combos.

Need to build a computer from scratch - would buying a whole computer be better than buying each components?

Jawa is trying to come up. There used to be a site years ago that was called GPU shack. It sold cards that were mined back in the first mine craze of around 2013/14. FB marketplace is where I sell off all my old stuff.

Just to control software. Thank you so much for the help.

I'd grab this except that the board only has a PCIe 4.0 video slot, and the newer AMD cards are PCIe 5.0. I mean, I get it -- MC wants to dump older boards with these deals, but I like to buy things that have future proofing built in because I don't tend to upgrade very often (I have an AM4 chip now). sigh
