Note: The HD10 seems to have a mind of its own, occasionally turning on its auxiliary lighting mode. The standby lighting is cute, but puts a slow drain on the battery. FACTORY RESET DOES NOT WORK! To turn off auxiliary lights you need to manually program it to do so. (If I recall correctly, you need to do 7 rapid clicks in succession to turn it off.) IMO, it is a design flaw for the factory reset not to restore the flashlight's baseline settings.
The Sofirn HD10 would probably have been my choice for a similar light if I didn't purposely want Anduril. https://www.sofirnlight
While anduril does have a simple mode, it's still pointlessly complicated and easy to get in trouble if you just randomly click around and don't explicitly want that level of control.
Factory reset DOES normally restore baseline settings, that's the entire point. Either your particular unit is damaged, or the aux lights being on are the default. These can ship with firmware of various revisions, and mine ships with the aux lights set to blink when "off". You can do a version check to see what firmware each of your lights has, including the misbehaving one.
Go to the Wurkkos page and get the Anduril documents to see how to make changes.
"If you wanted simple controls, I'm not sure why you'd order a light with Anduril." I ordered the Wurkkos HD10 because I liked the form factor, the 4000K tint, the 95 CRI, and the 0.5 lumen "moonlight" mode (which is near-perfect for my night use). The relatively diffuse beam pattern is better than average for my taste.
Regarding the Sofirn HD10, I have one of those as well (4000K, of course!). I'd rate its UI as "meh", too. Not any better or any worse than the Wurkkos HD10. Practical, but not my favorite. As to which one I prefer, I like the Wurkkos HD10's 14500 form factor over the Sofirn HD10's 16340 form factor. I also like the Wurkkos' lower 0.5 lumen moonlight mode. Run times are mixed bag depending on illumination level chosen. I like them both, but if I had to choose one, I'd pick the Wurkkos.

Wurkkos support is pretty decent, if the light is fairly new you can also just reach out to them.
You've got the standby mode LED lighting on (which is the default setting for some stupid reason). Click 7 times to cycle through the different modes, the 4th is off I think.
Anduril is very capable, but it is also very complicated and has a steep learning curve. If this puts you off, you can switch to the "simple" UI - check out the Anduril V2 control flowchart on reddit to see what all the flashlight can actually do.

I blinded myself many times trying to get to the mode I wanted.
