I bought the simpler version without the fingerprint (TE001) last month to replace an old Schlage Smart lock that died and was out of warranty. Easy install and works smoothly. Reviews on Amazon were great too.

I have this deadbolt and the metal on the outside pitted from minimal weather (San Diego) then let water in and it died this week after 1.5yrs of use. No power anymore. Not a great life span for a dead bolt. Besides that, I have no issues with it. Fingerprint worked great.

The prices have dropped to $41.32 ($40 for matted black). For about $8 more, the same deadbolt, model #TE012W, includes Wi-Fi and smart control features

I have three of these locks. Easy install but there are a few annoyances that could have been designed better. The steps to setup could have been quicker and easier and with less steps. Once installed, locking the deadbolt takes a bit too long and quite annoying. Opening the door is much quicker and easy. I don't know why they didn't make locking it as easy as opening it. Overall, it's a decent deadbolt and does the job.
