Rather ebay "student electric guitar" and see Temu (if you can bare it) for a $35 Cube Baby (multi effects and amps/IR's) pedal. ...Cost you under $100 and you set it up yourself. As you should. Plenty of directions online. And don't get a hard tail. You might want to add another $10 or $20 to get a humbucker in the bridge, for a classic, versatile super strat type guitar.

I do not care for the CBS fat head stock, or fret board weak color. But that's just preference. Affinity ain't what it used to be. Fender is only trying to justify higher prices on there premium models; but you don't have to play that game.

You can roll your own classic vibe. And label too.
