Can stay at cheap hotel nearby and pay a fraction of the resort price.Resort gets a new revenue stream while crowding the overnight guests.

I'm guessing these passes work better in tourist destinations/coastal areas

That's a good point, I'd want to stay at a place that did not offer a day resort pass, although I did notice that some places offer a hotel reservation, I'm wondering if this stacking of discounts could be used to get a cheaper one day hotel reservation?

When we went on a cruise to St. Kitt's, we used this pass to spend the day at an amazing resort with a massive pool, nice beach, bar, etc... for $40 each. It was fantastic.

I live near a hotel with a nice pool that is available on ResortPass. We go a few times a summer for a reasonable price, while not paying hundreds a month in HOA for a pool.

I know a lot of cruisers who disembark early in the morning but don't have flights booked until late in the evening. They're always asking for ways to fill their day w/o sitting at the airport for 10-12 hours. This would be a reasonable option.

They actually work well in business locations if you have a few hours to burn before/after meetings or if you have long connection times at large airports and the airline lounges at the airport are overcrowded.

A friend of mine uses this if he and his family are travelling. They leave on early flights to make sure they get to their connection point, then relax, take a nap, shower and eat in the middle of the day before heading back to the airport for their cross-country or international flight.

If in the hospitality industry (hotels/airlines/cruise lines) most hotels/resort have rates for discounted day passes for tourist locales.

Day room resorts are popular around cruise ship ports because people have late flights after disembarking.

Searched for Bermuda in August. Only 2 properties shown and the only halfway decent one was already sold out. The other one was only $30 a day to begin with. Try getting to $100 with that.
