Relatively, a better processor, integrated GPU, the 5050 has 8GB VRAM vs 6GB on the BB one, and double the storage.

I'd say so. Newest generation GPU + 8GB RAM is worth it by itself.

Newer architecture as well with things like multi-frame gen. But you weren't kidding ... the cards are almost identical.

Dont listen to others, the correct answer is HECK NO. As another poster mentioned wait for a 4060 deal for around $700 or the Asus A16 from BBY with the RX7700S for around $700 and you will be better off.

There are no major jumps in performance to be worth the extra cash $200, if it was $100 sure fine.

To what???

Here is a Asus A15 with a 4060 for $730 at staples.

https://slickdeals.net/f/18393691-asus-tuf-a15-15-6-fhd-144hz-gaming-laptop-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4060-amd-ryzen-5-7535hs-16gb-ram-512gb-ssd-windows-11-729-99?v=1&src=SiteSearch

The A16 with the better 7700S usually goes on sale once every three weeks to a month. So it should be coming up for sale soon if it follows trend.
