And what is small? This is a huge battery. The standard rack mount battery is 100AH by comparison so this is over double.

Then the price is for two of them.

Exactly. And those 100AH batteries are still around 600-700 anyways. So maybe you'd be paying about the sameā€¦ except you'd have to deal with more units, and no wheels.

Yeah, and Tesla has been a nightmare for support because they basically have backed out of the market leaving your installer to handle everything

If your installer goes under, your basically SOL

True..but in EG4's defense, it's heated (important in northern states) and has UL listings (important nationwide, esp. if permitting install). The market is only just now heating up in this larger battery (14KW) segment...expect even the EG4 prices to drop.
