Wow, that's crazy. I was thinking of getting the elegoo centauri but really want the AMS. And bambulab is supposed to be the gold standard of 3d printers. I'm so done with my ender 3. I'll document everything in case I need to do charge back with the credit card company. Thanks for letting us know your experience
I would seriously look at the Anycubic Kobra S1, it has some very nice features, and the parts are more sourced than Bambu Labs.
But if you do go with Bambu Labs, make sure to document everything. The thing they said to the credit card companies was, "He is trying to take advantage of us." I am like, seriously, they really said that to the representative on the phone.... She said yes, and they also said you are a repeat customer and haven't had any issues in the past. Go look at their Better Business Bureau rating. I honestly think it's a matter of time before Bambu Labs is gone.

The CC doesn't have a multi-filament system. They say they are working on one, but it remains to be seen. If you aren't interested in printing in multiple colors then this doesn't matter. If you are printing in PLA and PETG then you don't need an enclosed printer. With the CC you'll end up having to print with the top off and the door open. There is a non-Carbon version of the Centauri that is not enclosed for $199, but that isn't being sold as yet.The CC is backordered, so unless you get lucky and pick up one at Microcenter, you'll have a month or two of a wait. Some accessories for the CC are backordered, like the standard hotend. If you need a replacement you'll be paying over the odds to buy from a scalper.I own a CC, and considered the A1. If I had to do it again, I'd still buy the CC as I think it is more versatile and is yet to fully realize its potential. If I was running a print farm, I'd be sticking with Bambu for now.
What is CC?

OK, here is a page that actually lists the anniversary sale prices. Note the extra "policy" here that is missing in the URL that OP's link lands on

I own a Bambu, CC and Anycubic printers.
I would go with Anycubic S1 combo or Kobra 3 combo for your needs. They are one of the most affordable but good support with print quality.

S1 without the AMS can be had for under $300 which puts it at under CC. Better finish, no wait, and great support from Anycubic. I regret buying my CC as I should've just bought another S1 at the current price.

Anycubic support will ship any clogged nozzle and extruder with immediate shipping and they have displayed one of the best support in any tech industry that I've experienced.

Bambu is also great and I think few customers may have some isolated incidents, but not sure if it justifies the x2 and x3 the price.

S1 Combo PLUS 5-7KG of filaments can be had for $480 from Aliexpress after coupon ($120 off $600). Anycubic official store has it listed for $541 (price fluctuates daily) and add $60 worth of filaments from any other seller to hit $600 to apply $120.

It is a clone of Bambu P1S. Their ACE pro (AMS) unit is not as durable but their support is awesome with any parts and replacement that is needed.

I just received the P1P for father's day from my wife and took it out of the box but haven't set it up yet nor took it out of that wrap. She paid regular price about 3-4wks ago directly from Bambu.
Anyone have success in getting them to credit the difference or even return it for the P1S?

Not seeing coupon for aliexpress or official store to get it down to around $480. Could you please specify how?
