Yeah people just don't read anymore.
I think the best deal is P1S combo at $699 and A1C at $479.
From my experience with many printers, Bedslingers are proven to be reliable...but enclosed printers are so nice with it being able to stack the ams on top.

I bought the A1 Combo with AMS Lite back in February. It has been fantastic. This was my first 3D printer, so I was concerned with how steep the learning curve might be and if it was going to be a with breakdowns. It has been pretty much flawless. I can attest that it is a great 3D printer for beginners .

Are these better or the same as pre-tariff prices? For USA

What do you think? Tariffs make prices go up.

Everything in this sale was cheaper last year. As were a lot of things.

What I mean is, is this sale just bringing prices down to what MSRP was pre-tariff

The price here is $10 cheaper than what I paid pre-tariffs in February this year. (I paid $489)

There has been zero impact on prices from tariffs. Things are getting cheaper if anything.

Buy it and thank me later. I had a bed slinger that was top of the line running klipper and I spent more time fixing parts and failed prints than actually printing. I got this and have literally used it 100x more and very minimal issues, maybe a clogged nozzle every now and then but nothing major. These printers live up to the hype...maybe even exceeds it. Truly the Apple of 3D printing.

Should always get it from Microcenter if you can. Like the costco of electronics, they will take anything back.

What recent printers have you used from other brands? I didn't think BL is the only "just works" printer anymore.
I know the rest have gotton better... but bloody hands are tired of testing them. I just want to print for R&D... I did not get in the game to play with the printer and tinker around. I have other things that need that and they are on notice too. TIme is just more valuable to me these days.

I still have the Elegoo C Carbon. Just holding off. I do not beta test anymore for anyone. I value stability these days. I am all for everyone else having fun, I am just in a different place. I understand the others who do not want to fuss around with things and I am not happy about because I thought I was one who would never give in. Life happens and you live and learn.

Good luck. My P1S is doing all I ask and need. I have my calipers in my hand desigining something today. That is why I got into 3d printing. To make suff for my business that makes money... not play around with the printer wasting time and buying the parts from someone else. I do not want to make toys or the next neat thing.. I got it to make parts so I would not have to buy them. Its been a huge money pit and time waster so far... but the P1S has put me in a much better place to hit my original goal. Hate bambu all we want to, but their reputation and the user expericence is key. All of us bambu users started and used the others.. Now we are here. No one is paid to say this. I have no stock or get anything back. I have not crapped on other brands...

is it even worth getting p1s if i'm just printing PETG/PLA 100% of the time? I do want AMS with the P1P but ordering regular AMS w/ P1P is like the same price as the P1S combo Frown

The bottom line is Bambu printers are the industry's most reliable. It isnt even debatable at this point.

The only thing up for debate is how big you think the gap is between Bambu and the next machine down and whether the premium price is worth that. That is all. It really doesnt get more complicated than that.

For me I like to tinker and have a ton of back up printers so I dont mind buying a cheaper product that may contain some headaches but it is totally understandable as a consumer you would want something you can just press start on and walk away.

I will advise however that even Bambu printers will break down and need servicing etc. It is still a 3d printer with a lot of moving parts and tight tolerances, they arent microwaves just yet.

I would say so. You might think that you only want that now but it gives the ability to do those in the future and PETG can also have a tendency to warp sometimes on large prints. Also should reduce the noise some from the P1P.
