The sn7100 is on sale at bb for $75. The 2tb has a bigger price difference between the two. Is the difference minor even though it's says the sn7100 is better?

Your MUCH better w/ the t500 as it is dram.... the sn7100 does not and they are the same price basically... The t500 is far superior..
just noticed that the 2TB is $125, isn't that a better deal per GB if you can use 2TB?
Sure, but not everyone needs 2TB and just want a good value without getting more than they need.
Also, the version with heatsink looks to be just about $5-$8 more for each the 1TB and 2TB respectively. Not helpful for a laptop probably, but a plus for desktop users.

A single cent over $49 per TB should be laughed at and discarded as a joke for ALL gen 4 and now quickly becoming gen 5.
The kids might laugh, but they're just kids, the facts remain the same. As long as you are willing to pay more for less, they will keep selling it to you at whatever price you prove that you can afford!
I think DRAM matters significantly in the price!!!
This thing was never worth $144 for 1tb, these jokers throw around dollar figures like it's nothing. And $75/TB is just mediocre, even if this is a high end drive.

I did compared both, T500 is better due to DRAM.
