Pyrex lids have not served me well. I never use a dishwasher either. I always hand wash and dry but they still become so brittle that they crack. I cannot see throwing away good glass dishes because of cheap plastic lids that cost a fortune to replaced. Pyrex would do the whole world and our environment good if they would come up with a fair lid replacement program. Until then, I am out.

My Pyrex lids are fine (bought in 2008) but I have Anchor Hocking glassware and all of those lids cracked within the first year of use! I tried duct tape but sobered up and bought silicone lids to replace them. They work great! (for example:

lol, one of the benefits of going off the wagon! I too, buy too much stuff while being inebriated!
I was able to order just now. I agree with these lids but for us, they lasted like six years before starting to crack and we always wash them in the dishwasher on high heat to sterilize. Honestly, this price just for the lids to replace some of ours that cracked and then to use them as bowls for cooking or mixing is probably worth it on its own! I paid eight dollars alone just for the small rectangular one at Ross a couple of months ago. Bought one, thanks, OP.
