don't buy ... old tech, no lidar. newer irobot have lidar and pricier. just buy roborock or dreame at this price range

I agree. iRobot has worst navigation without Lidar.

Over the past few years, I've purchased several different iRobot models from Costco and returned every one of them due to performance issues or constant errors. Contacting iRobot customer service was no help at all. I genuinely wanted to keep one—any model—as long as it worked properly, but after trying them all, I've come to the conclusion that they simply aren't worth it. I'll be looking into other brands that use lidar and offer stronger suction, as others have recommended. I know iRobot just released a new model with lidar, but it's overpriced and comes too late. The ongoing error issues and the slow, unhelpful support make it not worth the trouble.

Without LiDAR, it frequently hits the wall. It's not worth this price.

Tesla also doesn't use Lidar. Something to think about the next time you use FSD or the upcoming Robotaxi.

Got one of these as our first robot vacuum a few weeks ago. We absolutely loved it, it was fantastic....until it wasn't. It kept stopping and saying the rollers needed cleaned even after we took it apart and thoroughly cleaned the rollers and under them. Had to return it. Waiting on a roborock q5 to arrive
