Small bedroom and you don't want both a HDTV & a monitor?
Due to low brightness, bad latency, low refreshness rate, this is a cheap casual monitor for a non-gamer without a TV. A single rom studio or 1 bedroom kind of use case for a non-gamer who likes to consume media.
If LG can put a better panel, IPS, 400+ nits, displayport, 120 hz, this would be an amazing product.
I'm still going to have to side with the naysayers as far as actually wanting to buy it. 250 nits is horribly dim and would make this really drab to watch. My 34" gigabyte monitor is 350 nitz and actually tested about 370 in reviews and is still not that bright. HDR is not very great either. This would be much worse.
I would recommend against it but to each their own...

Anyone hear a reason for cancelation?
Setup was easy. Its not very bright but good enough to be used in naturally well lit loft. I do care less about the response time since I will never use it for gaming. But for a home/office use, its a pretty good monitor especially for the price.
Pretty good deal on a 4K smart monitor for $128 with CB. May be I have very low expectations or its a big upgrade from a 24" 1080p which I currently use.
Not perfect or course but I'm very happy with it now, especially considering the price and my use case (no gaming, viewing angle not a concern and not using in a particularly bright/sunny space).
Just wanted to mention in case this helps someone else.
