I'm all for homemade peanut butter, but PB2 and other powders are made from defatted peanuts (i.e., after pressing the oil out), which may not be feasible to do at home.

People say the same about Taco Bell, but all it means in that instance is that their bloodline is weak and they are a genetic dead-end.

It's high calorie (190 cal and 20g protein) for a protein powder compared to whey , but it also has super clear/simple ingredients. It's basically ground peanuts with 2.5x the protein from rice. Would probably be great in oatmeal.

See some of the reviews claiming they had diarrhea and stomach issues afterwards? This is a no for me!
The issues are probably caused by the fermentation of inulin (fiber) in the gut.

love this stuff. lower cal if mixed with water, but with milk its incredible, way better tasting than whey - maybe not quite the same amount of protein, but super clean, 20g. I love mixing the cocoa and vanilla together - one scoop of each instead of 2 scoops of the same. Drop it in w/ my creatine and glp-1 supplement. Good deal.

Yup, me too. I actually like mixing this stuff with protein powder. The vanilla peanut flavor complements vanilla and vanilla-like protein powder very well. Ive had it almost every morning for the past year

That would be the fact that they don't eat enough fiber to begin with.

Probably good as an additive to your existing shake for flavor. I'm in for one.
that is exactly how I use PB2 stuff. I tend to buy protein powder in bulk so it's same flavors all the time. A couple of tablespoons of this added to my regular shake every now and then mixes things up. It's not that great on its own but is a nice additive.

Could I use this as a regular peanut butter replacement like classic PB2 or is the texture different?

Does anyone know if this is made from real peanuts? I'm trying to find a good protein powder for my daughter with a peanut allergy.

Friendly disclaimer: This product contains peanuts, so do not buy if you're allergic to peanuts.

Yep. Inulin is kind of notorious in that way. It is a flavor / texture enhancer, but it's a bit annoying how they also market it as a "healthy prebiotic" when it can easily cause GI distress.

Yes, the first ingredient is real peanuts.

"18% Daily Value Protein" based on 50g/day. This means you're really only getting 9 grams of "usable" protein per serving. This is common for plant-based proteins.
