Just picked one up at my local warehouse. They had one on display too with the $499.97 clearance tag. The original price that their system shows is $899.99, which was already a decent price as far as the LG grams go.

For comparison, the MSRP on the similar configuration but with 32GB of RAM was $1,700+ (admittedly unrealistic). Best Buy was clearancing this 32GB RAM configuration for $1440, and a few Microcenter stores which still have them are selling them for $1000.

what do you mean by legit? its driven by user submitted data or in some cases populated from costco inventory data itself. Because the costco app is such crap (you have to pick a zip, then search warehouse inventory) like a guess and check method. This site aggregates it all (theres an app too).

Hmm, I was called an idiot for not seeing the specs I asked about. I looked again and I do not see anything about the backlit keyboard or microsd ports, although supposedly there are pics of it.

I bought one before a year ago at costco for 800 and it is great in battery life, portability etc. so for $500 its great. Found one two hrs away for $400 which they are holding for me today. I will pick soon.
