Haven't connected the surrounds as yet, but added a spare Klipsch subwoofer to the Core when I got it. Man, this soundbar impressed me with the sound in my bedroom. I think this will do well in a small living room as well, by itself or with an added subwoofer.
Apart from the sound, what I love about this is the fact that you can connect any wired subwoofer to it, it doesn't have to be a Klipsch neither, nor the wireless subwoofer that's sold as a separate option for this soundbar.
Happy to see a reputable seller like Adorama has put this on sale, as they usually listed this at more than $450. It maybe the fact that the Core 300 has been released, but that's a whole other animal that's not even priced in this category, and built more to compete with the likes of the over $1K systems like the Samsung Q990 series.
Oh dang my mistake. Wow, makes this deal even sweeter!

I don't use the remote. I use my TV remote to control the volume. If I need to adjust any other settings, I just use the Klipsch Connect app.
