I bought this arrowhead power pack a few weeks ago. Have it powering a gazebo with lights, a ceiling fan, and charging phones and power tool batteries as needed. It's been great for the price point. Currently, I've been bringing it in and charging it using USB C as needed. I plan to add a solar panel to it soon, to have my gazebo totally "off-grid" would buy again at this price point.

Picked up the Rayovac + one of the Rayovac 100w solar panels also on Woot.

Maybe? Depends on what power requirements you have for the devices you want to run/charge. If you're running stuff off AC, keep in mind that the built-in inverters really eat into the battery life on any of these units.

296Wh is decent... It depends on how much you trust it. If I needed something small for basic stuff, maybe, but I got my Bluetti PS70 Lithium Ion for $200, and I love it, and it can run a shop vac. This wouldn't. I have a similar one that isn't as big and I was using it by the couch when I was sick to charge my phone and do nothing. It'll charge several devices, but don't expect it to run a fridge or anything big.

If you have something that's 300W, it'll run it for almost an hour, maybe run your laptop for a little bit. A 60W laptop is 5 hours, a 100W laptop for 3 hours.

If you can charge your devices off of 12V, get something to charge a battery off of your alternator or a wall charger and just make your own power station and it'll probably last longer. buy a LiFePo4 battery, one of those tool boxes and put a strap on it inside and run cigarette lighter ports on the side. I should really do that because I have a couple batteries and would like a bigger power station for some of the basics and run higher DC output. If I want to run a 100W phone or laptop charger, I can just use an adapter.

Lots of easy projects you can do depending on what you want out of it. If you don't care about AC, super easy asd fairly safe to build without much knowledge.

Have you tested it as a UPS? I would buy if it has =<20 Ms tranfer time (like the Ecoflow River 3).

Following.

I have this and the Rayovac 100W folding panels in my Woot cart and am debating their usefulness for small items (TP-Link router, phones, etc) during power outages. Possibly to take camping in our travel trailer. Obviously it's not designed for larger stuff, but $95 seems like a good deal, especially when compared to the Anker 747 that's been on here for similar a price.

Your TP-Link router router likely has a charger. Look at the label on it. If it is 12V then you are in luck. You'd need to buy an adapter for it. Your smartphones will from this unit's USB ports.

The Woot page is wrong; this unit is NOT airline friendly. 296Wh is way over the 100Wh limit

Just checked and the TP-Link does list 12V.

This may be an affordable way to reengage our internet during power outages. It'd be especially useful since cell service is spotty at our house….
