It is traditionally an employer or education benefit discount. But recently LG Partner Store opened up signups for Hulu subscribers as well which is weird but it worked for me so I am not complaining. Start a Hulu trial if you arent a sub already and then under perks (https://www.hulu.com/perks) use the LG Partner Store link to go sign up with the same email and you will have access to it.

I've had a recent bad experience with LG partner store: Bought a 77" C4 which had a defective screen. LG did not send a new TV and is dragging its feet (3-4 weeks) with using a local repairman to replace the screen. This is a great deal though!

Right now IMO I would say the C5 is the best deal, clearly not the best tv when compared to G4/G5 but at $ 1800 with free mount and sound system, hard to beat for a model that is just a few months old

I'm hoping you can get it sorted, I had a G5 with a bad screen as well (it was completely DOA and wouldn't turn on at all, which was a huge bummer). I called them immediately and after speaking with the tech support person, they transferred me back to order support and processed the replacement. It was only two days after they delivered it, so that may have helped. Just got the shipped confirmation today. For me it was a 5/10 of a hassle, but I could see it being very rep dependent. Worth it based on the price imho.

I will also note that the lowest price for this dropped more than $400 from the Memorial Day sales to now, plus you get a free soundbar (vs one at 50% off). Take that as you will with regards to buying now (this might be the lowest price for a while) vs waiting (maybe Labor Day deals will be even better).
