Some notes I found interesting: The inverter starts at 110V which is a bit low already, and if you use a 50ft+ extension cord and pull say 1000W with this it's possible you end up with 100V at your load which is bad. As you add more load the voltage drops alarmingly as well. If you get to 2400W and above it just keeps dropping the voltage instead of tripping. The review shows under 90V at one point. This was tested at 1.7kwh capacity, so about 80% of rated capacity (85-88% is common in this class). My take: If you have non-sensitive equipment and want a battery that draws low wattage for a reasonable amount of time, this is decent. But this doesn't perform like other 2kwh batteries from what I've seen.

As for other items on AE, I definitely wouldn't recommend buying things from AE that was shipped directly from China, you're going to pay a hefty tariff on it that YOU have to pay for upon delivery. The current administration took away an exemption that made shipments under $800 duty free.
Before February 2025, things you had shipped directly to you from China that was worth less than $800 you don't need to worry about fees upon delivery, now, you do. I ask Grok what a $50 shipment would cost me in fees and the response I got was $27. So it makes zero sense now to purchase things that ships direct to you from China. Probably why we're seeing more of these AE items shipping out of warehouses in the US.
These things have ridiculous cycle life, no normal person is going to run out of cycles in 10 years (3650+ days). And no one is really cycling this once per day.
Even if these are subpar cells with say 1500 cycles, it is still well over 10yrs for the avg user. By then, battteries would probably be 10x cheaper too.

This power station has been on the market for a year, if spontaneously catching on fire was an issue, we would hear about it because a LiFePO4 power station doing that would be news. Solarplay doesn't make these, it's only their name on the product and they're the public facing company. Like everything else, there's a 3rd party that make these as well as similar versions as well as other power stations for other companies. The cells and other electrical components in this power station aren't unique, they're just off the shelf parts used in other power stations as well, they're not made only/specifically for this one power station, that would be uneconomical.
LiFePO4 cells are probably the most stable as far as the lithium class of batteries. LiFePO4 is pretty mature now, you would have to be intentionally destructive with the cells in the wrong way for it to catch fire and burn your house down. There are plenty of torture test videos of LiFePO4 batteries online for you to check out.
Worked for me just now.
Even Amazon sale fake USB, memories, and others
If the price is too good to be true, just trust your instinct.
I am not buying this!
