2 in 1 is garbage. Never buy one. I had a dell, hp, and lenovo. Hinge issues and glitches in windows with hinge sensors. Each laptop lasted barely 2 years. Don't do it. Buy only thinkpad laptops from lenovo, E or X series. The most important features of a laptop are battery, ram, processor, nit brightness, and backlit keyboard. Do not buy into these convertibles, tablet type surface laptops and oled nonsense.
I personally love 2-in-1s and haven't had any issues with them. I just love that I can start watching media on it before flights take off because you aren't supposed to have laptops out during take-off/landing, but tablets are fine.

If someone can vouch for the battery life, and it lasts at least 12-15 hours, then I will get it for my daughter, who is starting college this year.

Word of warning, this is the lowest tier CPU/iGPU this generation and is pretty neutered, and thus in many ways its worse than midrange chips 4 generations older... Its 3 normal cores and 3 cut down cores so multi-thread performance is poor, its iGPU is cut down to only 4 CU's which is fine for everyday use but dont plan on playing games on it or doing intensive video or image editing. The upside is that it is power efficient and has good single thread performance, so its fine for general use, web browsing simple application usage, etc.

The sad truth of Windows laptops… Battery life means Chromebook specs, and quality specs means 30 minute battery. Doesn't matter how much you want to spend 😂

Are we expecting any mid year ThinkPad deals sometime soon? I need a spare laptop at home for emergencies but not something thst will frustrate with drivers or glitches after 2 years.
