So formally no - but as with all things, if you try hard enough it's removable.

Honest review

I bought this last time

The battery barely got me 8 miles, pedal assist
And the pedal assist mode felt uncomfortable and weird

The seat was very uncomfortable

The bike was light weight compared to others

I would have to pass

If anyone wants to buy this off me and lives nearby
I rode it once for 8 miles

DM I will sell for $190

Bought this last time for $215 no tax free shipping, sold for $240.

Paintjob is superb, build quality is nice, throttle granularity excellent, really nice for low speed feathering, I have a bike that cost over $1k and the throttle isn't nearly as good. The range is the weakest link, but is totally adequate for many many tasks and for last-mile type duties. Weight is not insignificant, smaller people will find it heavy. Suspension is not bad. Looks way cooler than most mini ebikes.

Most pleasant surprise was that the brakes were very well set up. Of all the bikes I've ever bought, this had the best set up of the brakes, and that is crazy given how cheap it was.

My bike arrived today, took it on a quick errand and I'm pretty impressed especially at this price. It does feel a little heavier than I expected and I'd consider myself above average in strength. The acceleration was pretty good but not at the point where it felt scary fast. The pedal assist feels a little weird because the throttle will kick in randomly while you're pedaling and thrust you forward which feels a little unsafe. The seat is also quite uncomfortable and I'll probably upgrade it. The lowest seat height does also feel a bit too tall, I'm 5'10" and ride on the lowest, so I don't know how a short person would fare. All those nitpicks aside, I'm really happy with it.

Hello, I just wanted to ask when you ordered it and how long it took for you to receive it? I ordered mine a few days ago and they updated with tracking information but the package hasn't reached fedex for about 3 days now. I've just started learning how to use pedal assist on ebikes and for me what works with these cadence sensor pedal assists depending on if theres a lot of stop and go or obstructions/people in the way, I'll completely stop pedaling and just use the throttle if I need the electric power so it won't trigger the random jolt from pedaling, otherwise just keeping hands on the brakes as you pedal with assist on helps but is a little weirder. Hopefully it works well with this ebike, I'm only used to the bigger ebikes currently.
