Love this fan. If I didn't already have 2 and, an abundance of batteries, I'd be all over this. Great deal.

Can you return the batteries separately and keep the fan?

I've got this fan and I like it so much that I'm really trying to justify in my mind jumping on this deal.

How long does the fan run?

I have two of these fans and they are amazing and easily portable. They also have the option of being directly powered by an extension cord too while you are charging up the battery. With the 4ah battery it lasts about 2 hours on the highest fan setting and with this quicker charger option the battery should charge within about 2-3 hours from completely dead. If you are using the fan at lower speeds it lasts much longer.

Same. I have 2 of the smaller version and even they are awesome.

The batteries aren't High performance. Don't get them. You're going to be surprised by how big of a difference a HP makes.

I feel like all these Ryobi deals suck, even direct tools deals have been meh lately.

I think they were correct, this one falls under shrinkflation. This deal used to be two 4ah batteries and a free Tool for $99. Now it's a 2ah and 4ah battery.

This seems like a decent deal , I've been looking at portable fans for car shows and events. I was leaning towards a misting fan ryobi actually makes one. I am not in ryobi line up currently , mostly Milwaukee with some dewalt I was looking at some of there fans since I already have batteries but they don't make a misting fan. How long does 4.0 ryobi battery last with this fan on high ? I know they probably give specs but specs often bs people can anyone actually say that has used this fan how long would it run with the battery included?
