Love this fan. If I didn't already have 2 and, an abundance of batteries, I'd be all over this. Great deal.

I bought this fan by itself last year for $25. And then bought an adapter for my DEWALT batteries, I actually prefer this fan over my dewalt one. Wish this was a hack for fan alone, I'd buy another

I saw a deal for (2) 4.0 Amp 40v with a Charger for $199....
Seemed like a good deal sincec just a single battery was $149.

Yeah...you can get knock offs for less....but if you want the real thing $100 is a good price per battery these days.

I have enough ryobi batteries and don't need more. Is it a good deal if I just buy the fan alone for $59?

How?? When I add to cart, it puts everything together as one single item.

Are you saying you have to purchase and then do a return of the just the batteries/charger?

If you have kids in outdoor sports/activities like swimming, soccer, beach volleyball etc these fans are a life-saver. I see you looking at me Karen but yes we have two of these yes we bring them everywhere and yes we have absolutely no shame.

How long does the fan run?
I love this fan. I need another one. The fan has 4 settings 0,1,2, and 3. Using a 4Ah battery on setting #2, the fan will run 8-9 hours. Its nearly silent and the breeze is strong. Someone just commented saying on setting #3 (the highest ) using a 4Ah battery will last you 2+ hours. I can imagine on setting #1 with a 4Ah battery, the fan will run for 12+ hours.

How much stronger are these than the USB cordless ones on Amazon? I want something to cool down after a steamy shower. The rechargeable ones are nice but don't blow enough air.

I have this fan and need to return it. For some reason setting 1 doesn't have a constant speed and it is incredibly annoying for the fan to constantly speed up and slow down. I have several other Ryobi fans and haven't ever had this issue before. I've tried both a 6 and 4 HP battery. Haven't confirmed if it does it when plugged in but if it can't run on a battery it's not worth keeping.

I recently bought a Shark Flexbreeze fan on sale from Costco. I haven't opened it yet, but was considering something like this as an alternative. I don't like all my devices having their own built-in rechargeable battery. My use cases are for backyard use to keep mosquitoes away and keep cool and the infrequent times I go to an outdoor concert. This is tempting.

For those who don't want the batteries and the charger, you can hack this deal and just get the fan for $37.35 plus tax.

Go to this link [homedepot.com] and on right select the batteries as the main items, then add to the cart. In the cart, you can see the itemized prices. For the fan it is $37.35. Choose two different pickup locations, and then place your order. You can cancel the batteries once your order is confirmed.

I was looking at this deal , and I looked around it's a ok deal . The Hercules job site 7.5 " fan is 25$ tool only it's dual voltage so 20v or 110 v I happen to have a impact wrench I keep in my trunk Hercules , I also got the Milwaukee top off and a bunch of Milwaukee m18 batteries. I thought this was a good deal on the ryobi until I read the reviews Hercules is actually better reviews. Lowe's for 20$ has a misting conversion kit in store , Walmart has 8-12$ conversion kit if you want to wait for shipping a few days . I'm ganna buy the Hercules tomorrow for 25$ .

I have two of these fans and they are amazing and easily portable. They also have the option of being directly powered by an extension cord too while you are charging up the battery. With the 4ah battery it lasts about 2 hours on the highest fan setting and with this quicker charger option the battery should charge within about 2-3 hours from completely dead. If you are using the fan at lower speeds it lasts much longer.
Im on dewalts ecosystem however the option to have a plug just sold me on this. Now i guess i have some batteries to use with my ryobi sprayer too and no longer need to use an adapter.
