40 should be the normal price for this kit anyways. Overall great though.. Have these setup at 2 locations for over a year.

They're fantastic. I do prefer the Sensor 2 option with the built-in 105dB Audio Alarm. I jumped through the hoops to get automatic text and email alerts, but just plain hearing the little alarm when it goes off has proven to be helpful.

This is an outstanding deal, I probably paid at least double that amount, buying the hub and water sensors separately. I have these sensors by our sump pump, washing machine, refrigerator and under sinks. They have saved us thousands of dollars in potential water damages.

Got this kit and got the automated water shut off valve as well. Haven't needed it yet but the peace of mind it brings it well worth the money!

Bought this in may last year for $40 after discount when the original price was $55. Seems like they increased the price to 70 within a year.

I own this and it's a great platform to buy into for their other sensors too. I put the temp sensors in my fridge, freezer, and crawlspace for the furnace to alert my phone if any of them break.

I got one of these last time it was on sale. Very useful for ease of mind.

Be aware that the water sensors are gen 1 pucks. If you want to use probes (eg to monitor drip pan on water heater), you'll need one of the later gen sensors.

Great deal, but when did water lines get so unreliable that I'd need sensors/monitor them for leakage?

It's usually valves or those flexibile lines under sinks and toilets, water heaters, or air conditioner units that cause water damage in houses not the actual water lines. It happens to everyone sooner or later- I would highly recommend getting something like this.

Pipes freeze and burst, foundations crack. OR your father-in-law insists on installing the water line to the fridge and you're not quite confident in their plumbing skills. There are ALL kinds of reasons to need these beyond water lines just failing.

bought the version 4, 4 pack for $8 more. I think having a siren would be beneficial. was definitely one of the easiest smart home device set ups I've done. also easily integrated into home assistant - even if the integration is cloud-based, I can still do some backup notifications. the govee leak detectors can't be integrated into home assistant without buying a separate dongle

I bought the same 4 pack with hub of the version 4 sensor which has the 105dB alarm for $48 earlier today (link is below). There was a 20% discount at checkout mentioned on the Amazon page. It was NOT one of those coupons with the checkbox next to it. It was automatically applied at checkout and took $12 off.

The older version in the deal posted here does not have an alarm so you'd be relying on app notifications to find out about the water leak.

My garbage disposal went out and it started leaking water (I think because my RO system dumps it's waste into it?) Anyways, not it's not from the water line. I bought the sensors with the built in alarm in it little while ago (it's currently 20% off, little bit more expensive than this deal).

Yea I think those are more useful, I have three of them now. I just picked up 4 more with the 20% off.
