Bought these last week for the same price, though they have inflated the regular sale price to make the sale seem better than the 105db siren models this time.

They are good.

The main difference if anyone is comparing this to the $20 Govee, 2 unit and hub posted here is that these can connect directly via ethernet for a more stable connection than 2.4ghz wifi only. They do lack an onboard siren for this model though.

Ethernet is nice but not having an onboard siren seems like a missed opportunity. Basically have to be monitoring your phone to know if a leak starts then.

There're two different models. Sensors that have the alarm, and the sensors that don't have it. I guess the alarms with no alarms would make sense in close living spaces and condos.

By the way, you can disable the alarm and just alert you via app/text instead of you want.

I have these under all my sinks, near the water heater, sump pump and main water line coming in the house. Highly recommend! The app works great too.

Bought these at the last deal along with the auto valve ($250 one, the cheap $60 didn't work). They all work great. Any leak detected now shuts off the water. After a recent leak that cost upwards of $40k to fix, didn't want to have to deal with that again!

This is another amazing deal, the hub and four water sensors. I started my journey with YoLink years ago, with the hub and a water sensors, which I placed near our sump pump. Anyone with a sump pump knows that eventually they will fail on you, but their water sensor saved us on more than one occasion. I can't even imagine the damage cost, if we didn't have it. I've since placed them under every sink, the refrigerator and washer, which it recently detected a hose leak.

Don't forget under the toilet supply. Those braided hoses are all chi-com and they do develop leaks and can burst while you're not at home, especially if they're old. Also, toilets do overflow....

I got the hub connected via ethernet last night but when trying to get the wifi connected instructions are confusing and says something about can't connect to 5g wifi. What am I doing wrong? Do I even need wifi if's plugged into my router which I assume would be the more stable connection?

I found the yolink support team to be extremely helpful. They answer questions well and respond to followup questions. Usually within 24 hours, and often on weekends. Email to: [email protected]

AFAIK, this is 2.4ghz WiFi only. Those don't always play nice with dual band 2.4/5ghz WiFi routers. You will need to suspend your 5ghz signal until you are finished with the 2.4ghz setup.
