Is this worth the additional 400 bucks for the 4k compared to the Asus S16 from Costco? Anyone?

Depends on specs and if OLED vs LCD. OLED displays are amazing but I don't think the resolution itself is worth $400. I personally don't notice a huge difference between 2k and 4k displays for regular daily use and really only notice it when gaming or watching videos.
