I have one of these i highly recommended them. They feel a little cheap but play perfectly. Up to ps1 games and at this price ita a steal

Have one for one of my kids. Great starter device IMO.

Works well with knulli firefly (alpha). Well worth donating a few bucks to the knulli devs considering how many devices I have knulli alpha versions on.

Not sure why Anbernic doesn't just come out and say they make this device.

I have four of these in every color. Great device for the money. The buttons have an amazing feel to them. Just make sure to charge them with a USB-A charger; 5.0V 2-3.0A otherwise, It may fry (it is in the manual too).

So that means it doesn't meet the USB-C spec. Has anyone actually had one die from C to C charging? I kind of doubt it, unless the charger is out of spec since it should not output higher than 5V unless the device asks for it.

Tempting. I already have a r36s and both have the RK 3326 w/ 1gb ram. These can play some PSP and N64 games. Havent had any issues running Mario 64 and 2d psp games.

I had a cheaper model, and the device made a burning smell when I plugged it into a USB C brick. Never did that again

When did AliExpress become ok on SD? I remember when SD would reject great eBay deals just because the seller wasn't a featured seller or hadn't reached a certain feedback threshold. Now anything goes.. "listen kids, back in my day on the anonymous internet deal forums…"

This is a great deal, basically a rollback of pre-tariff pricing (almost!).
If I had to add any advice, I'd say 3 things:

1) Order a high quality SD card 64gb is good, 128 is better (if you plan to download a lot of ROMs).
The main reason for this is the stock SD cards have a very high failure rate, so you'll want to clone it ASAP.

2) Get a Realtek 8188 chipset WiFi dongle. This will give it WiFi capability for updating the Operating System (you'll also need a USB-A to USB-C adapter for the dongle to fit the console).

3) Have fun! It's a growing hobby with plenty of support forums on Reddit, Discord, etc.
