It seems a bit odd to sell herring as sardines. Some of their herring products do say Herring on the front label panel.
They have a comparison chart that shows some of their sardine products containing either herring, pilchards, or sprats.
These are definitely larger than your regular spratty sardines. There are like two of them squeezed into a can. Or is it one, butterflied?
Very fishy taste and smell, not in a bad way necessarily, just more than your regular oiled sardines. Don't expect King Oscar sardines.
