I'm also at the age to realize, I need my wife's approval to buy this.
Splashing/splashback is a major problem in bathrooms, anything within several feet will get covered in pee. Unless it is plastic, stainless, or a varnished wood it won't be cleanable. Go look on YT for "UV light shows the unseen splashes" if you want it visualized for you. Vacuuming it like Amazon listing won't remove dried piss from the fabric's pores.

This would have been great for putting on top of the toilet water reservoir. Where the pee splash back has minimal impact, for those who are worried about pee splash back.
I personally was going to use it to organize some paper towel rolls

As the other poster noted Pee splashes and the best part; you cannot control "others" peeing habits so unless you live alone its not practical is it....

Didn't want the fabric sides - look at the 2nd to last product photo at Amazon and you'll see the sides are flexible and held upright by four sticks inserted in inside at the corners.
Actually wanted a smaller six roll storage holder (to match the Costco individual six pack) to fit in a smaller space and not a fabric one. Could not find one on Amazon! Only an ugly $38 steel-sided one. Seems like a market opportunity for someoneā¦
