An annoying airline tried saying my two pieces of checked baggage was 55 and 59lb.
I disagreed and pulled out my portable unit.... they weighed in at 45 and 49lb. (50lb was limit).
Another person on another check in slot said "hey, they just did the same thing to me!" and he also had a portable scale.
In the end they "made an exception" and let us through..... We saw each other at the gate... both laughed and filled out complaints with the airline, the airport, and local news stations.
