FYI, check out all of your various available grocery stores for whether or not they jack up prices. Most of mine do, but Food Lion has "in-store prices" on DoorDash and Instacart

No pay it by item, distance, bag etc. Don't just blindly tip 10% or 15%. The Internet will have you believing to tip 20% blindly on everything which is ridiculous and makes it worse for all of us. If I get a couple prime ribs worth $50 for a grocery store 5 to 10 mins away, better believe I'm tipping $5 max and prob less

Looks like this deal is only available for delivery. I skimmed through the terms and it says not valid for pickup.

Combine this with Costco's DoorDash gift cards at 20% off, even better deal!
Tempting, but I also don't want to end up stuck with DoorDash gift cards if I can't claim this deal. I would eventually use them through other deals, but it may take a while.

I also got a flyer in the mail for 50% off groceries (up to $30 off, on orders $30+) that is valid through 7/10 (with a start date of before 6/25 when I received it).

Nothing. Tipping only subsidizes sub standard wages for gig workers. Doordash/instacart/etc will all raise base pay each minute/hour that the job is not accepted. Force them to pay the wages that are fair to employees and charge us the appropriate fee for their service.

All you're doing when you tip in this case is subsidizing a multi billion dollar corporation. The CEO and CFO say thank you for helping pay the wages of their gig employees while they laugh about guilting you into it during board room meetings and on vacation at fancy pants inclusive resorts. Ayn Rand warned you of this: moral authority is a tool of control. Be very wary of anyone attempting to wield it, they seek power over you.
Agreed. The longer people are okay with tipping (even though it's a USA thing), the longer the companies will continue their ways. It's been getting worse over the past few years too...I've been at a number of fast-food (Subway, Starbucks) and fast-casual (Fazoli's) places where I walk up to the front to get my food and they still want a tip.

as somebody who has done 1 grocery delivery ever, this will ensure he gets the worst possible person at that time, so good luck on getting all of that order with no tip or realistically any order at all. Have fun going through the cancellation process in an hour.

I don't tip and all my orders turn out fine. If they don't deliver fresh ingredients I demand DoorDash a refund or dispute the charge. DoorDash will learn their lesson and pay their workers acceptable wages. In no world will I calculate what workers should be paid. I am the customer not operating a business. And with the new law that tips are not taxed I will cease tipping at restaurants with a smile on my face. Why should I pay income taxes? Where is my tax break?

Don't cease tipping if tips are tax free, just make the tip a bit smaller and the person providing the service will get the same amount they were getting before. If you handle it this way tax free tipping actually saves money for the person doing the tipping.

Don't forget to screenshot the order screen with promo. Doordash has a reputation for walking back these promos after delivery like the mother's day fiasco. I ended up calling 3 times before just doing a chargeback
