If I recall correctly the label indicates to store in a cool dry place.

Good luck with that in the back of a delivery truck during a heat wave, but it probably won't make a noticeable difference after it's delivered and cooled back down in a fridge.

To improve distribution, they changed the source and amount of fiber per can, so that they no longer need inventory to be stored cold.

not necessarily, i asked this before to olipop and they said that its recommended but not mandatory, they don't do the distribution to the stores cold, just like a regular soda can but the soonest you put it on the fridge its better, i guess to preserve the probiotics

the shelf stable ones are gross compared to the refrigerated ones imo. costco has the shelf stable ones and i tried a sample, was not the same.
