Quiznos subs was the best when I only tried them once ever. Then subway became the standard...
Quiznos was different, because their subs were toasted. It was unique at the time. "The best" is a stretch....and that's why they filed for bankruptcy, sold off the company, and went from approx. 4700 locations in the US to approx. 150! A real success story!🙄

Bought 2 foot long chicken sandwiches at Subway yesterday with the BOGO $1. Holy crap it was the tinest sandwich I've ever seen. 1 tiny piece of meat in the ENTIRE sandwich. It's too bad I didn't have time to go back and complain. With the filth and rip off of these Subway franchises, I am never going back again.
One tiny piece of meat?? Do you always exaggerate this much?? Trust me, if that were true (and there's no way that it is), I'd find the time to go back and complain!....but not after I ate the rest of the meat and left one piece behind!🤣

Not exaggerating. Each 6 inch side had 1 piece of the tiny grilled chicken meat that's already chopped up (not a whole chicken breast patty). the rest was all veggies. Never ever trust Subway workers making sandwiches for you. holy crap. I'm not even going to go back there again. I hope they go out of business soon, very soon.

I don't often go to Subway these days, maybe once or twice a year, but I've generally been happy with the subs I get there, usually their CCC, fully loaded, on flatbread, but sometimes teriyaki chicken if it's on sale. But Subway gets a horrible rap, despite still being around and I assume successful and thus popular. So what's that all about? Why all the hate? Do I just have low standards, or has their quality been going down lately?
Still seems fine to me, and I've been eating Subway for decades. It isn't the same as it was 30 years ago, but I haven't noticed many changes in the past several years at least. I think their bread was better back in the day, and of course they don't slice any meat in-store, but it's still okay and these things are not recent changes. I don't go there and pay full prices, but $7 or BOGO footlongs usually leave me satisfied, if not raving about them. You can find better sandwiches of course, but I appreciate the consistency, wide availability, and promo prices. If you like Subway, ignore the whiners and keep eating it, there are many much worse or less healthy options out there.

It's "complicated" when you say that you basically never eat their sandwiches, yet you're questioning the quality. There's nothing to question about a product that you clearly don't really like and don't bother eating in the first place (except once or twice a year, which, in this situation, is the equivalent of never). It's kinda silly to question the quality of something that you intentionally avoid in the first place.
You seem to be having reading comprehension issues and must be such a joy at parties. woot

I tend to agree. I just had a footlong the other day, a $7 deal, rotisserie chicken with almost all the add-ons. It wasn't bad, except they didn't put enough sauce so it was a bit dry. I let it go as I'm trying to lose weight, but that was the one negative. I agree with others that there are better chains, but they're also more expensive. You could do worse, taste and health-wise, for $7 these days. That said, Taco Bell will always be my go-to for cheap not great, not terrible fast food.

With the coupon codes Subway is a pretty decent value if you like their clubs. 3 Times the meat, double the cheese for less than a value meal at McD's. Helps if you have a good Subway like the one across from my workplace.

It has absolutely nothing to do with my "reading comprehension" (which is well above average). It has to do with your inability to compose a post that's at least somewhat comprehensible and organized vs. hardly intelligible and all over the place!....as was your bizarre "party" reference.

How convenient...my Subway doesn't support any of these coupon codes. It should be a requirement to own a franchise because it's confusing/frustrating for customers otherwise.

Thanks for mentioning that about combos. Last time I tried to order a meal using the "Make it a Combo" button and the discount didn't work.
