It's okay if you don't appreciate nice watches or seeing the time is the only thing that matters to you on a watch. Different people have different things that they like. People buying nice watches aren't buying them to know the time.

The lumed hands and hour markers appear to be tritium tubes. They don't require light to charge them before glowing. Instead, they are little tubes filled with radioactive material that stay lit all the time.

The half life of tritium is 12 years, FYI

Good brand but I'd say this is an ok "deal". That msrp is taking a piss. Its just an ETA movement and a leather band instead of a bracelet.

I got a Ball watch about a year ago and it's my favorite and most accurate of my small collection of mechanical watches.

I really like the tritium tubes (which I think all Ball watches have), so it's easily readable in any light.

My daily is an Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow GMT. It tells the time and some and I love it. It is several times pricier than this "deal" but it is Ok if some folks like you can't appreciate it.

Skip the watch deals for now. Focus on the deals for glasses. 🤣
