Keep the Galaxy S25 Plus or downgrade and get the Pixel 9...? Like the smaller form factor, but battery and processor definitely worse than the Galaxy S25 Plus
Samsung makes far better phones (hardware)

Purchased and returned the 9. Terrible screen to use in low/no light - excessive purple bleed. No real benefit over my P8 except for autofocus selfie cam.
Pixel 8 screen is better than pixel 9? That's surprising.

Anyone have thoughts about this vs the mint deal for 2 years unlimited with the s25?
I ended up going with the Galaxy S25 for a few reasons:

1) While the camera is generally better on the Pixel 9, the S25's camera isn't -that- much worse, and it actually pulls ahead when taking video in many instances
2) In a review video I watched, the S25 was almost twice as fast when they did a processor test by converting, so with the Pixel you are sacrificing a lot by utilizing a cheaper processor
3) The S25 was launched a few months ago in February, while the Pixel 9 launched last year in August

I had Mint Mobile and it was great.

You will run into areas where internet speed isn't fast or not available but the latter is rare. Also, now, there is a plenty of wifi so that will help ya

their "unlimited" service sucks. It's unlimited, but can't get service at all a lot of the time. We got the pixel 9 for $400 offer with a year of service. Can't wait for the year to be up to move back to US Mobile.
That's a bummer, I live in Durham, NC and the service here has been great with Mint

This or the 1000% made in America T1 phone?
I thought that was a joke, but it turns out to be a real phone o.O!

Totally agree with you. I switched back to google assistant. Gemini can't do some very basic things that i use all the time, like starting a route in maps or setting an alarm (at least on my 7a)

My wife and I have had Mint along with our Pixel 9's for about 7 months now and have been really happy with both. I love the cameras on the Pixel 9's (I have the Pro XL) - I do have larger cameras also and find that in some situations the Pixel is actually better and/or easier. I also like the Pixel features like Now Playing, Call Notes, Call Screening, Live Translate, the better fingerprint sensor, SOS Satellite emergency communication, and anti-theft features. I've had Samsung phones before and they are very good also, but for me the camera advantages along with some of the phone features mentioned above are what keeps me using Pixels.

Mint has been fine also, love the savings we get over the major carriers. Reception has been as good as our previous T-Mobile service. But cutting our bill by half is huge, saving us more than $700 a year on our cell bill.

$259 for a pixel 8 PRO with 1 year of unlimited vs $719($359.50 a year) for a bottom of the barrel pixel 9 with 2 years of unlimited.
Pixel 9 is better. Newer generation modem alone makes it worth it. 1-year deal was 15GB.

PSA, if the USM deal comes back, you can order without a plan, and users are reporting the device is arriving carrier unlocked.
