Here is another name you didn't hear for some time: Sears sold me plasma for $495 in 2011

i replaced an LG 60" plasma from 2012. This looks and sounds better. I have mine wall mounted and the sound is quite good from TV. I use a home theater setup so I do not use TV speakers.

They used to have some good deals back in the day. My parents got a 2007 panny plasma from Sears that still works fine. Only 42" but looks good still. Keeps you warm too. They finally replaced it with a Sony 65" OLED which is incredible.

My penny plasma TV died after 4 years of owning it. Swore never to pay 1500$ again but this deal is very tempting

It's a good deal but buy at your own risk. I would pass on this based on my experience with this merchant. I ordered the 55 inch Panasonic and they charged my card that same day but shipped more than a week a later. Called them to see what the deal/delay was and they said it was OOS but they were expecting a batch to come within the week. OK, no problem since I'm not in a rush for a new TV anyway. It finally comes 2.5 weeks after ordering and it arrived with a broken screen. (I believe the shipping company broke it while in transit.) I called back, explained what happened, and they said send an email w/pics of the broken TV and a manager would look it over and determine the next course of action. Another week goes by and there's no response from them (no phone call, email). So after 3.5 weeks I'm fed up with this not so slickdeal and ask for a refund (which they did provide).

Lot of cases with broken screen, either the packaging is really bad or the transit company are not handling it properly. Mine is in transit and arrives early next week. Hoping its not broken.

Wow! What a great price on 65" of POWER!!!! It was a tough cycle to break, but after upgrading in size buying and selling off TV's, I've finally went back to my first 55" curved OLED as my main display. I don't have a PC worthy of gaming at 4K. This is a test of FOMO to the max degree, but I will pass!

Thankfully, when I bought mine a month ago when this deal first launched, mine came in without delay (took 3 days from ordering), and in perfect condition. It's been a game changer tv for me, coming from a 2010 Sony 40" 1080p Bravia.

Just got mine yesterday.

Ordered on Thursday night, shipped Friday from NJ. Delivered at my house in California on Monday.

TV box was placed inside another carboard box. No damage and flawless.

Very good experience with shipping and delivery.

Is there a 2025 version of this? If so , any noticeable differences?

I bought the 55" Q7MK for $599 instead of this TV. It was hard to pick but I didn't think this would be bright enough for a room full of large windows and a lot of light. Hope I made the right choice :|
I think you made the right call. My living room is bright with windows and I had to replace my OLED since it didn't handle the glare well. Picture wasn't bright enough either. Moved the OLED to dark bedroom, where it looks amazing.

I ordered this TV on 7/18 and it arrived via FedEx on 7/22 shipping from New Jersey to central Wisconsin. The TV was double boxed and packaged very well. Compared to my 6-7 year old 55" Vizio this thing is amazing. I really don't understand the concerns around brightness. Even in my living room with all windows open this TV is plenty bright and far surpasses the old Vizio LED. Picture-wise I couldn't believe the difference. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this TV to anyone

I believe the closest will be the Z80b which uses the same standard Oled panel but will include the new HCX II chip.
They also have the Z90b which adds the Master Pro panels their prior flagship model(Z95A) used.

You would have to jump to their Z95B to get their new RGB Tandem panels.

I also have an old Samsung plasma 58inch that I feel I don't need to replace, but this deal is almost too tempting. Am curious about how your new TV compares to your Samsung. In particular our living room is bright during the day, and the Samsung is watchable but it definitely degrades the experience. Wondering how the Panasonic compares in a bright room (and regular night viewing too).
when i switched to oled several years ago it was so stark a difference i was shocked. i literally yelled to my wife, "holy smokes get in here you gotta see this!" and she came and her response was "oh my god"

its really that good.
