I just bought a 7420 with largely the same specs, a 512gb SSD, for like $170 shipped on eBay last week

How does this Dell refurb compare to the HP in the microcenter deal recently posted? Seems comparable? Can't tell which has better screen

Does anyone know if this comes with 1 16Gb stick and is it upgradable what should it cost to upgrade to a 1TB drive a 32Gb of memory?
I am wondering if some of the $400 to $600 deals are better.
Really just want a solid 5 year laptop.

Can you explain what you mean with a little more details. I have a platinum Delta Amex is there a way to get a $200 on this laptop

I bought one as well with A grade. Initially the USB C charging port stopped work and then finally the laptop stopped working.

Geez. They're still trying to get rid of these? I bought one of these refurbished Dell Latitude 5420 models from Dell last August for $308 shipped before sales tax. Same config with i7-1185G7, except 32GB RAM and non-touch screen. Still running well, but hasn't been used much. Installed Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC, runs well. Man, the display is just barely bearable by today's standards: dim with poor color reproduction. I guess this would be better than a $300 laptop special from Walmart, but be aware of the compromises and the lemon lottery as others have mentioned.

I bought one last week and only gave $175 shipped to the house. I am running on it now with no problems. The laptop looks like new condition as well.

This dell is 11th gen intel. They had 12th, 13th, 14th, and then reset to 1st and now 2nd gen of their latest style processors. This is an old off lease pc. I'm not sure which Microcenter deal, but they dont sell old used computers. Maybe open box returns of current models.
