Dang. I got the Wingman back in 2013 for $22. Didn't realize the price had gone up so much. I don't recall if mine came with a pouch, always pocket carry. Comes in handy although I'm a fan of plain blades for ease of sharpening.

I respect that companies line Leatherman have not sacrificed quality.

Unfortunately, in doing so they've had to price a lot of us casually interested folks out of the market for their products.

The price didn't go up, the value of your dollar went down. The real question is, who got the buying power when it was taken away from you?

Same. I bought two sidekick's a long while back for about that price, and keep one in my laptop backpack, and one is in the car glovebox. Haven't used either of them, but it's nice to know I have something just in case.

I knew that the price was too good back then, so I bought a couple. They are my favorite Leathermans because of the spring action and all the tools I need.

Gonna have to pay more if you want made in America vs overseas where labor costs are $2/hr.
