Most of these end up broken and unrepairable. Eventually it's just landfill food.
Some are much quicker than others though. And some things aren't plastic and batteries.

Yeah actually some people do need this to maintain dental health and there are tons of folks with dental prosthetics and implants that you actually DO need to use this. Some if us have teeth so tightly spaced especially at the top that it is actually almost impossible to get floss between them and so frustrating you give up. Thus the water flosser is a teeth saver.
