Totally agree. They made the Combo Touch MUCH slimmer in the latest version… I'm using one on my 11" M4 Pro and it's awesome. Much better than the one I had for my M1 Pro (though the Combo Touch has always been the best cheaper alternative to the Magic Keyboard case IMO)
I have this for my 9th generation iPad, it's a very good case. Converted my iPad to a somewhat suitable work device instead of my 6lb laptop. But the design suffers from one small flaw which can be quite expensive. The magnetic retention on the keyboard part can detach if you are not holding both the keyboard and iPad at the same time and depending on what's below it can crack the touchpad or break the keyboard. I wish they had a better lockable retention of some kind on this case if you just want to sit on the couch and watch something.
I am not sure if this has been improved on the newer version but if you can shake the keyboard off over the bed then this is still a problem.

Lighter than the Magic Keyboard but flawed in a number of ways. The soft case fell apart after 6 months. The keyboard is too flimsy to use on non-hard, level surfaces.

Is there a better case that has a backlit keyboard?
