how bad the ads are and how much you can tolerate depends on each viewer of course .... waaaay back I did the Hulu with ads for ninety nine cents a month and found the number of ads varies depending on what show you watched.. for the most part I found it tolerable but there are certain exceptions.. example since Murders in the Building is one of their flagship shows you get a LOT of ads within the short period of time that is each episode - I gave up a few episodes in due to the ads alone.. but with the anime I often watched on hulu I found the number of ads weren't awful especially with anime that had been on the hulu roster for a while (they dropped the number of ads I think the longer the show was on hulu, show wasn't as profitable I guess
I will admit I haven't watched Disney Plus with ads (just Disney Plus without ads) though I've read bitter online user complaints about how many ads are in Disney Plus.. still and nonetheless if they give the same $3 a month with ads combo directly from Hulu/Disney this coming November Black Friday I'll probably grab it and see how it goes .. it's kind of nice being able to watch a Marvel/MCU movie on Disney when it eventually hits Disney Plus after being in the theaters long enough and I'm a fan of the Disney MCU TV shows (they're what I'm powering through on my watchlist right now
