It is strong enough to hold a couple 24" monitors BUT the fiberboard tabletop slab sits on the metal frame and there's only a 1/2" lip around the edge. Most monitor arms use shallow clamps so you need to be very careful/picky about finding arms that can attach properly.
If you find one that you can drill and bolt into the tabletop, and anchor that way you would be fine. If you find one with a slightly deeper clamp it could grip the metal bar. If you find one with an even deeper clamp it could extend over the metal bar and grab onto the fiberboard slab underneath.
Another option if you're up against a wall, is wall-mounting the monitor(s).
