The hardware keeps dropping and the subscription prices keep going up, even though storage and cloud prices overall are dropping, too.

These two are going to be installed in open areas while on vacation. After that, probably cover two angles in the garage.
For outdoor stuff, the other brands work OK. Nothing I've seen works as good as ring for detection and notifications.
Plus is that although not RTSP, motion can trigger events in Home Assistant so you can turn on lights and stuff.

What I would like to see Ring cameras is local storage, like a SD card in the camera or the base station. In case of Internet failure or lost connection there is not way to see the footages.
A company that wants you to pay them money to record on your own storage and also saving their own storage...
