Ok, I tried to price it against my reservation with Cruise America in August from SFO to Portland. Cruise America is the same price after Escape's 40% off. Cruise America will be much roomier, but with less fuel economy and driving capabilities than these vans.

What's killing the deal is that they operate on the same concept as Uhaul. You pay FOR EACH MILE, no miles are included. 40% off does not apply for additional miles ($0.42 per mile or $52 for unlimited miles per day).
Plus additional fees are about 35% of the final price not including miles and they do not specify what are those, except for the $9 per day "fee" fee. Additional fee for "maintaining fleet"
