I've purchased these a few times before. I keep them tucked in a few places for when I need an adaptor. My laptop bag, desk at home, desk at work, travel bag, and wherever else I can think of.

I don't use them anywhere as a permanent fix (except the USB printer at work), but as more for emergencies if I have the wrong cables for something or another.

Haven't used these adapters manufactured by these people, but these things are great for completing the conversion of EVERYTHING to USB-C

Are these ones wired up correctly and work properly? I have tried a few other brands, and every time they were garbage that only worked in one orientation with USBC, like they forgot to connect up half the contacts.

I ordered these exact same ones back in August of 2023, and they seem to work fine. I couldn't tell you about any technical specs like transfer speed, but I will say I've never had any obvious problems with these in terms of build quality or functionality. Honestly, the only reason why I'm buying another pack is because my girlfriend uses the C - A adapter, and a few weeks ago she stepped on the connector and broke it lol.

I can try to run some tests if anyone needs me to; but again, the three remaining adapters that I have are from a 2023. Hard to tell whether the build quality is the same after two years.

I guess that explains why I thought mine were defective as I was only getting USB 2.0 speeds. I bought these a while ago and it wasn't stated anywhere that 2 of them were USB 2.0.

It's literally in the description of the listing. They're usb 2.0. (The Speed You Need) For the two adapters with USB-C plugs, you can trust them to outperform the industry average level and reach 2A in terms of power output and 5 Gbps for data transfer. As for the two adapters with two USB-A plugs, you can also expect a decent 1.5 A power discharge and a data transfer speed that's on par with the standard USB 2.0 protocol. To operate properly when installed on a MagSafe, it requires a power adapter with a minimum output of 5V 1A.

I purchased same to use it for carplay ( my phone wire is USB-C and car has USA-A). It doesn't work and since then I have reset my car infotainment system few times. So buyer's, do not think to use it for carplay as it does not transfer enough data/speed needed for carplay

Just a tip, if you guys want to maintain your smartphone battery life, stick to 1A chargers. I know fast chargers are all the rage. But my battery health dropped 10% after using it for a year, after I switched to the old 1A, it dropped 2% in the next year. The added heat from high Amp chargers isn't good for your battery.
